HP-UX MC/SG " cmclconfd: "Updated file /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig " syslog 원인

hp-ux mc/sg 와 oracle rac 를 사용하는 경우 syslog 에 "cmclconfd: "Updated file /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig" 메세지가 
계속 나오는 경우를 볼수 있습니다..

이 메세지는 내용그대로 cluster환경 파일인 cmclconfig 가 운영중 변경이 되었을때 변경 되었다고 단순히 Logging하는 것입니다. 

These messages are due to the cmclconfig binary being modified because 

of the OPS/9iRAC software which makes such modification online during 

node/group membership changes in the OPS/9iRAC environment. 

The above messages are normal informational type messages that 

may be logged when stopping/starting Oracle and may be logged 

when the cluster is very busy. 

SG OPS uses the Group Membership Services (GMS) and any change in the 

Group Membership triggers a CDB (Cluster Database Transaction) that 

finally results in an update of the cmclconfig binary on all nodes. 

On SG OPS clusters, the update of the cmclconfig binary is normal. 

The events that trigger a change of the Group Membership (and a update 

of the cmclconfig binary) are: 

- A process joins the group. 

- A process leaves the group. 

- A group member died.  Group Membership Service monitors group members 

  and automatically de-registers group member if a member died. 

- Cluster membership change due to node crash. Group Membership Service 

  assumes that all group members running on the down node are gone. 

Tom Brannen answered questions Kenneth Tai had re: Serviceguard OPS on HPUX 

11.11 and 

syslog messages, cmclconfd: "Updated file /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.tmp for node 

.."; 

these are normal informational type messages & not indication of problem. 

예를 On-Line중에 Package를 추가 하였을때 같은 메세지를 볼 수 있습니다.

일반적인 경우에는 운영중에 cmclconfig 가 변경될 일이 없지만 RAC의 경우에는 

Oracle Start & stop 또는 Busy 한 경우에 Oracle의 Group Membership Service에 

의해서 cmclconfig 가 변경이 되는데 이때 위와 같은 메세지가 발생합니다. 

결론적으로 정상적으로 Logging하는 내용이며 무시해도 상관없는 메세지입니다.
